We're in the Burren in Co. Clare again. It's a very special place. It is the only place in the world where Artic/Alpine and Mediterranean/Subtropical plants grow side by side. This is due to the unique karst landscape and its microclimate. It is home to about 1100 plant species out of the 1400 species in the whole of Ireland. There are also two butterflies that live there - The Pearl-Bordered Fritillary and the Brown Hairstreak which are not found anywhere else in Ireland. 🦋 Oh! There's also a really cute fox that my Dad has basically adopted. 🦊 😂<br>
