So I made one.

Hier ein Negativbeispiel, die Unkenntlichmachung ist von mir: dieser Traktor kam mir entgegen und trägt das Kennzeichen oben neben der Fahrerkabine.
Die App von #Insta360 hat das nicht erkannt - vielleicht auch, weil die Schrift darauf grün ist? Vermutlich aber wegen der Position.
Fazit: ganz praktisch, aber bei weitem nicht 100% zuverlässig.
#Insta360 hat einen Kennzeichen-Blurfilter zu deren App hinzugefügt und ich hab den vorhin kurz getestet: eine Insta360 Ace Pro (1) mit 4k/30 HDR laufen lassen und verschiedene Situationen kontrolliert.
Aus dem bearbeiteten 4k-Video habe ich ein paar Screenshots.
Grundsätzlich: die Ace Pro ist eine sehr gute #Actioncam und eine mittelmäßige #dashcam .
Das Auto aus dem Screenshot war ca. 15-20 Meter vor mir. Innerorts, unter 50 km/h. Das Kennzeichen wird immer in Wagenfarbe ausgeblendet.
Oder ich gehe doch direkt auf eine Insta360 X4 
Damit würde auch das Problem des Blickwinkels im #Dashcam-Modus gelöst sein, wenn man die Kamera nicht am Kopf/Helm befestigt hat und dementsprechend oft der entscheidende Moment nicht auf Video ist, weil die Perspektive von Kopf und Kamera unterschiedlich sind.
Bei der Insta360 ist aktuell nur der Preis abschreckend. Und ich müsste noch prüfen, wie es mit der Software-Unterstützung unter Linux für die Nachbearbeitung aussieht.

Was checking my insta360 x3 just before a trip. Device was dead. Strange, but lets charge it. Come back like an hour later, and the device is absolutely cooooking. Could only barely remove the battery and it is definitely inflated.
Now to get a new one and let’s hope that the device itself survived and that i wont ruin a second battery. It was only barely used, and not even a year old. Not a good look #insta360 #insta360x3

32 GB reichen für ~45 Minuten Video in bester Qualität
Habe letztes Jahr Videos von der #Rehkitzrettung mit dem Vorgängermodell GO 2 gemacht: https://peertube.tv/c/rehkitzrettung_fihu/videos Die hatte auch nur 32 GB Speicher, das fand ich knapp, aber die Akkulaufzeit war das größere Problem. Die GO 3 hat einen besseren Akku.

Kdenlive 24.05.0 now has a proxy profile for the Insta360 Ace actiob camera. The Insta360 Ace Pro Action Camera has a 1/1.3-inch sensor that can capture 8K video at 24 fps and 4K video at 120 fps.
The footage is said to be clean, sharp, vivid, well stabilized, and has clear audio. The camera can also record slow motion video at up to 240 fps at 1080p resolution or up to 120 fps at 4K resolution.
Can you count the camera angles / mounting points?
Using a nice day in May (actually two ;-)) to show what you can do with a 360° Action Cam and some creative mounting (without much fuzz and without being a video editior or going full hog on editing - just one timeline and straight cuts inside the Insta360 Studio Desktop App.
