The Spider Web Galaxies.

One of the more complex spiders (plural) webs that I've seen. Five or more multi-line anchor points to the plants on either side allow the whole arrangement to flex in the wind without breaking.

Several webs are built in and around the centre; the angled disks reminds me of the spiral galaxies in Hubble photos.

A web of spiders webs is strung between plants, with further support lines to the ground. More webs are built in the support lines as well. Low sun lights up the webs from out of frame, against a background of blurry green forest. Lens: Helios 44-2 f/2 58mm

Marion Bay in Atmosphere Mode.

Surfers were having some good waves that day, despite the onshore breeze. The surf spot, locally known as 'barnyard', is behind me to the right about 1km. I just made it in time to catch the fading rays of late afernoon sun on the sea mist and breaking waves at the northern end.

Buddleia

A flashback to the memory of butterflies flitting around the garden and landing on our buddleia we planted especially for them. The flowers will be blooming again soon and the butterflies will be enjoying all the flowers we planted for them. This buddleia, for those who might be concerned, does not spread, is not invasive.
