Catherine McCarthy<p>Touching to learn that the set for the La Bayadere ballet dance in the TV show Etoile belongs to Ukraine. During the war, Ukraine shipped it to Tokyo to protect it from destruction. According to this article in IndieWire, Etoile Production Designer Bill Groom found it in Tokyo, rented it, and had it shipped to Paris for the show. I hope Ukrainians are able to see their beautiful set on TV, and that it returns safely home to them very soon. 💙🇺🇦💛🩰🤍<br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Ukraine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ukraine</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Etoile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Etoile</span></a></p><p><a href="https://www.indiewire.com/features/interviews/etoile-29-ballets-amazon-prime-1235119101/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">indiewire.com/features/intervi</span><span class="invisible">ews/etoile-29-ballets-amazon-prime-1235119101/</span></a></p>
