DoomsdaysCW<p>How my brain works. I heard a song last week on the radio (<a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/WMPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WMPG</span></a>), but wasn't finding it in the published setlists. I knew it was from the early 70's, and looked up what I remembered about the lyrics, but no luck (lots of similar lyrics). Then I contemplated the vocals -- who did it sound like? Why, Eric Carmen, who sung the song, "All By Myself." So then I looked up Carmen's songs. No luck. But then I saw that Carmen was in a band -- The Raspberries! And sure enough, it was their song! "Let's Pretend" from 1971! Gotta love <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Wikipedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Wikipedia</span></a> for times like this!<br><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let%27s_Pretend_(Raspberries_song)" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let%27s_</span><span class="invisible">Pretend_(Raspberries_song)</span></a><br><a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Earworm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Earworm</span></a> <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/NameThatTune" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NameThatTune</span></a> <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/WhatWasThatSong" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WhatWasThatSong</span></a>?</p>
