The funding will support road repairs, boost bus services, improve safety, enhance walking and cycling routes, and expand electric vehicle (EV) charging points. Key projects include £6 million for Milford Haven Interchange, EV infrastructure in Cardiff and Newport, flood prevention on Fabian Way in Neath Port Talbot, and improved school routes in Powys and Llanidloes. Councils across Wales, including Wrexham, Swansea, and Caerphilly, will receive tailored grants to improve active travel, road safety, and access in their communities.
