For me, #TransJoy is not just about gender affirmation and euphoria. It's also about feeling happy at life in general (because I can finally see myself in it and be happy about it). It's also about just being able to feel happy. Before I came out, I didn't really ever feel happy. After I came out, whilst I'm not feeling happy all of the time, I can actually feel happy at times.

Over 10 years ago most Saturdays I stood in my kitchen frying bacon, listening to Stags Below by Martha Tilston, wishing I was a woman, wishing I was in a relationship with someone who loved me.

Not for the first time, once again I was stood there, frying, listening to the same song, knowing that my partner who loves me was sat in the other room. But I think this was the first time I did it and my brain realised, oh fuck, you are a woman doing this!

I have achieved what he dreamt of and thought was impossible.

It’s beautiful morning, a little chilly. Perfect for a walk with the doggy.
Had a great time last night. I got asked to dance😀😀 we chatted some, he was nice and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable.
My legs and feet are kind of sore from all the dancing, bouncing around and wearing heels most of the day and night.
Enjoy your Saturday.

I have obtained TSA pre-check with my correct gender marker on my passport!

The Clear employee who helped me was very nice, I got some queer / trans / non-binary vibes from them.

I got my passport before the anti-trans U.S. executive order. I knew the guidance from TSA is that my passport is valid until it expires, but I wasn't sure whether they would allow me to get TSA pre-check with it.

I hope this helps other trans folks. Please boost!
