When you announce new music you have created, which hashtags should you use to help people find it?
I'm drafting an initial proposal on https://the.socialmusic.network/t/hashtag-coordination-across-the-fediverse/222/3?u=icaria36 -- feedback welcome!
Yesterday I met @prinlu in person for the first time! I enjoyed the set, from experimental to very danceable. I really really enjoyed the conversations.
I also met @dlikdh for the first time, and I didn’t know I had such a cool neighbor in Köln. Same with #Kunstwerk what an impressive community project! The whole evening was very inspiring and very warm (mentally; the actual temperature was trending to chilly, but I came prepared).
This is my Social Music Network website bootstrapping log:

Seven days from a Discourse vanilla installation to a fully featured community space. I'm very happy I started it spontaneously. I think it can be useful to anyone planning to create a new Discourse-based forum. I know I will get back to it the next time I bootstrap one.
After 7 days, we have concluded the boostrapping of https://the.socialmusic.network and now the beta phase starts.

This weekend I want to install #LibreTranslate by @argosopentech in our server, next to #Discourse Translator by @Discourse and the Multilingual Plugin by Pavilion (which --small world-- I helped design in my professional role years ago).
I'm quite intimidated because I haven't touched LibreTranslate ever and I haven't found a guide connecting these pieces.
But social music lovers deserve a multilingual space, so here we go. Links welcome!

Are you a social music lover and do you speak a language other than English?
We want to make #TheSocialMusicNetwork a truly multilingual space (if it's monolingual, it's not my revolution)
https://the.socialmusic.network/t/a-multilingual-community/26
We encourage you to start a meeting point for your language. I just created ones for español and català.
Non-Latin scripts and right-to-left languages especially wanted!
Today you can join the birth of a new community project:
The Social Music Network
https://the.socialmusic.network
Musicians, developers, and all music lovers collaborating for the common good!
(slogan to be improved)
If you find it empty / ugly / messy, it's fine. Come back in a month. But if you want to be an early adopter, a tester, a contributor, a curious musician... then join now and you won't regret.
