The fact people with ASD as a cohort have higher intelligence, and (possibly as a result) tend to consider more options, consider them more thoroughly, and often are less heavily burdened by societal biases (but more heavily burdened by (social) anxiety, go figure), doesn’t mean we’re not able of the sub-optimal decision making that is more common in neurotypical people. In my experience just fuzzing it is not how most of us chose to operate, if given the option.
And #sorryNotSorry if I stepped on somebody’s neurotypical self esteem. Consider it a tit-for-tat .

I had a former coworker, evangelical Baptist minister. Apologist, pro life. Trump voter 3 times. Adopted a disabled child 15 years ago to ‘save’ her from abortion. Wheelchair confined, Down syndrome, nonverbal, seizures, ovarian cancer and hysterectomy at age 11, aspiration pneumonia due to inability to swallow.
