10 years ago the global #OpenStreetMap conference took place in a developing world country (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and a European one in Karlsruhe, Germany.
One had same-sex marriage, and progressive trans* gender identity law. The other… was looking old fashioned even then.
The arc of history bends towards justice, and things have changed!
Germany now same-sex marriage (since '17) & a dignified gender id law will come in later this year.
Last week I was due to give a presentation on openstreetmap-website development at the State of the Map Europe conference in Łódź 
Unfortunately I got ill on the morning of the second day!
So I've made a home recording of my presentation. Although it's a poor substitute for doing it live, I hope it's still interesting to watch:
