Eric 🇧🇪🥾🚆🚊🌼🐑🐞📷<p><b>Automotrices SNCB Sprinter à Eppegem en avril 2005</b></p><p>En avril 2005, sur les lignes 25 Bruxelles - Antwerpen et 26/27 Halle - Etterbeek - Vilvoorde - Mechelen la plupart des services omnibus sont assurés par les automotrices AM 86 <i>Sprinter</i> aussi appelées <i>Masque de plongée/Duikbril</i> du fait de la forme caractéristique au niveau des baies du poste de conduite. Ces automotrices sont des engins de temps de crise... La SNCB, confrontée dans les années 1980 à des années de vaches maigres et d'économies tous azimuts... Après les voitures à deux étages du type M5 qui était très spartiates et simplifiées au maximum, les automotrices des tranches 1986 et 1989 (52 rames au total) sont aussi assez simples dans leur conception. Vaguement dérivées d'un prototype baptisé <i>Modul Suburban</i>, elles sont équipées de bogies Schlieren comme les classiques et par conséquent limitées à 120 km/h, elles ne disposent pas de fourgon et manque singulièrement d'adhérence du fait de leur poids assez léger... l'aménagement intérieur était assez proche des M5 mais disposait quand même de tablettes et de poubelles. Elles furent avant tout conçues pour circuler sur des relations courtes autour de Bruxelles et d'Antwerpen. Elles reçurent la livrée bordeaux classique à l'époque mais faillirent recevoir une livrée toute blanche avec une bande de visibilité verticale sur la face avant.
