(2/2) The emotions I feel reading the article:

1) The vicarious joy for the dad, friends, & family.

2) The righteousness of refugees to flee tyranny seeking a better life.

3) The happiness that Saskatchewan welcomed refugees & he found love across the artificial boundaries of national border, race, & language.

4) Despair that in the past such stories were written about the journeys of others to the US & my fear that this will not be the case in the future.
