Just installed #PostmarketOS on a #OnePlus6 I bought for this purpose (writing this toot on it rn 
). Been working great except for two things:
- Megapixels is missing some oneplus,enchilada.ini config file and I can't figure out where to get it from...
- Chatty won't start from the app menu. It starts fine from the command line, but that's not really practical
If anyone has any idea, help is welcome
In case you're using a @frameworkcomputer 13 Laptop and want to use the power LED as status LED for #feedbackd (to be notified aboutnotifications in #phosh, etc) you can use this #udev rule:
There's a warning as the LED claims to be multicolor but it's not. That warning will go away with the next #feedbackd release.
Do you know what is really cool and handy of #Linux phones like the #Librem5?
You can save files, like tickets directly from your computer on your #phone, for example in the #Phosh #ticketbox directory.
The #GNOME save dialog allows to save to another device, like your Linux phone if it is accessible over ssh / sftp.

#wlroots is putting out release candidates for 0.19.0 and I'm running my #phoc branch targeting that on my laptop since today and it didn't crash yet (https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phoc/-/merge_requests/599). That's a pleasant surprise. 
I've also uploaded the wlroots RCs to #debian #experimental just in case.
@sajattack @Luigi311 Can confirm that wgpu demos work fine with vulkan on OP6 with #phosh/#phoc but GL fails with Wayland and X11 (although eglinfo reports a GLES 3.2 profile) so that looks like something in wgpu.
Not much news on other mobile platforms but I needed a reliable clock that wakes me up even when the 
is suspended so I added some boottime clock support to #gnomeClocks.
This together with #feedbackd support can be found in https://gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/gnome-clocks and #phosh's nightly packages.

@agx @chris @teacherrogueone Yes, I use PDFs in #phosh's ticket box also a lot. It is very convenient!
@chris @teacherrogueone Same here. I've been using the PDF in #phosh's ticket box for all kinds of tickets so I don't have to print them . I've heard BahnCard is more problematic nowadays but I don't have that since some time.
Wow I've never seen this before! Usually the whole shell just freezes up or something unless I quickly SSH and kill or something. Definitely an improvement

It would be really nice if @phosh added a pocket detection feature using the proximity sensor. I disabled the PIN login but now it seems to randomly unlock and respond to garbage input in my pocket. I'm not sure what is causing it to randomly wake either, but checking the proximity sensor before allowing a swipe unlock seems like a good idea.
Switching #libqmi from gtk-doc to #gidocgen makes doc generation almost 5 times faster and it's less manual work when adding new #qmi services or messages. Hopefully we can land this. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/libqmi/-/merge_requests/409

As part of or work on #Cellbroadcast we've documented our current test setup: https://codeberg.org/Phosh/gsm-cell-testing using #osmocom for the mobile network parts and #ansible for deploying #ModemManager on the devices, performing the tests and checking the results.

I'd like to understand how Android handles some QMI bits and found tooling by @joelselvaraj for that on the @postmarketOS wiki (https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Qualcomm_Modem_Debugging). That needs a patched Android kernel, so I took some notes how I got that to work on a Pixel 3a. Personally, I use my PinePhone Pro as my only smartphone, and it's completely satisfactory (except for the low battery life).
I'm running Manjaro Linux with phosh and all the available apps (thanks in part to WayDroid).
