In that time I've had several favourites, with more likely to come. </p><p>NP++ holds high honour among them. I will not accept a Windows machine without it in reach. Thank you Don Ho and contributors. :) <br> <br><a href="https://notepad-plus-plus.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">notepad-plus-plus.org/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

butterfish<p>So by week two at the new job, I'm apparently now known to be both highly sceptical of co-pilot/AI and keen on <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/rss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rss</span></a>. Also got an "aah, she's one of us!" approval from IT for installing <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/notepadplusplus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>notepadplusplus</span></a> on my machine. Good going!</p>

Lazy Q<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://strangeobject.space/@PhotonQyv" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>PhotonQyv</span></a></span> For me <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>python</span></a> made a lot of sense when I programmed using <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/NotepadPlusPlus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NotepadPlusPlus</span></a>. Basically I started with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cpp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cpp</span></a> and hated compiling, so I moved to languages that didn't compile like <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Javascript" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Javascript</span></a> and Python (and didn't need an <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/IDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IDE</span></a>). Then I moved back to IDEs when I started using <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/VSCode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VSCode</span></a> for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Typescript" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Typescript</span></a>. I feel like Python evolved like I did, and its design made a lot of sense for an use case that's not very compatible with latest features you see in modern programming languages.</p>
