Als VVD en NSC nou gewoon eerst hun poot stijf houden in het kabinet scheelt dat gelijk een hoop gedoe.
Het argument 'de oppositie steunt ons, dus geen meerderheid in de Kamer' lijkt me een redelijk valide argument als je uberhaupt beleid wilt voeren.

(Maar wellicht is dit ⬆️ een beetje teveel gevraagd van de huidige generatie kabinetsleden. 🙈😒)

Trump fired at least 3 senior #NationalSecurity Council [#NSC] officials at the urging of the #extremist & conspiracist #LauraLoomer, according to a US official w/direct knowledge of the matter. The dismissals came a day after she met him in the Oval Office with a list of administration personnel she deemed #disloyal to him.

Loomer walked into the WH with a sheaf of papers, which amounted to a mass of opposition research attacking the character & loyalty of numerous #NSC ofcls. She proceeded to excoriate them in front of their boss, the #NationalSecurity adviser #MikeWaltz, who was also in the meeting.

Loomer’s rhetoric & actions have been so #extreme that she has alienated others even on the #FarRight. She has shared a #ConspiracyTheory on social media calling the Sept 11th 2001, terrorist attacks an “inside job.”

A snr #MikeWaltz aide used the commercial email service for highly technical conversations w/colleagues at other govt agencies involving sensitive #military positions & powerful #weapons systems relating to an ongoing conflict, acc/to emails reviewed by WaPo. While the #NSC official used his #Gmail account, his interagency colleagues used govt-issued accounts, headers from the email correspondence show.

Nederland scoort hoog in internationale geluksrapporten vanwege de hoge levensstandaard, goede gezondheidszorg en relatief sterke sociale voorzieningen. Tegelijkertijd zijn er ook veel mensen die stress ervaren door de woningcrisis, de druk op de zorg, polarisatie in de politiek en ongelijkheid.

A reporter was added to a White House principals committee Signal group. No, that shouldn't happen, and government entities discussing classified information shouldn't be operating this way. Obviously.

But the app is used primarily for meeting planning and other logistical matters—not for detailed and highly confidential discussions of a pending military action. And, of course, I’ve never heard of an instance in which a journalist has been invited to such a discussion.

Conceivably, Waltz, by coordinating a national-security-related action over Signal, may have violated several provisions of the Espionage Act, which governs the handling of “national defense” information, according to several national-security lawyers interviewed by my colleague Shane Harris for this story."

Ze denkt er dus nog even over na. Zoals alles voor zich uitgeschoven wordt door dit kabinet vol prutsers, miskopen en tinnegieters die niks aanpakken, laat staan oplossen.

Systeem aanpakken Een eerste stap om dit probleem tegen te gaan is volgens de onderzoekers om het te erkennen. Verder pleiten ze ervoor om het systeem aan te pakken, niet de individuen. Maatregelen die tot verbetering kunnen leiden, zijn bijvoorbeeld het opstellen van richtlijnen in de zorg. Moslims zouden volgens de onderzoekers bij de aanpak betrokken moeten worden. Dit is niet het eerste onderzoek waaruit blijkt dat moslims discriminatie ervaren. De laatste veiligheidsmonitor van het CBS toont aan dat moslims de grootste groep Nederlanders zijn die te maken hebben met discriminatie vanwege hun religie of levensbeschouwing. Uit onderzoek van de Radboud Universiteit van vorig jaar bleek dat moslima's veelvuldig met discriminatie te maken hebben in alle fasen van hun werk bij het ziekenhuis. Het kabinet komt voor de zomer met een reactie op de bevindingen.
