Off the 99<p>Yesterday, 200 people took to the streets in South Modesto, marching against ICE raids and standing in solidarity with all those targeted by the Trump regime. </p><p>Low-riders waving UFW flags took part in the procession, blocking streets. We got reports from lots of folks that many youth did not go to school and some walked out. Many others did not go to work. </p><p>Hundreds rallied in Merced and Modesto, waving flags, banners and signs. This is just the start!</p><p>The Central Valley has always been a place where the working-class - and hyper-exploited immigrant workers most of all - have fought back against the bosses and repression from the government. Today's actions only carry this struggle forward.</p>
