May MulderFinished my fingerless mittens. I've tried to crochet in the style of Scandinavian 'hønsestrik' knitting. Very popular in the seventies. You're supposed to choose your own symbols and also your name and knit it in a repetitive way in colorful bands. They made al kind of clothing like this, even long vests and skirts. OsvaldoMy next knitting project: Fingerless Mittens! (aka hand warmers)<br> I bought the two sizes of circular needles from Cruella's for $18.50 each (🫢😬), compared to the wool which was $6, and has already had use on my beanie. The needles do feel nice though, at least they aren't cheap plastic ones.<br> Knitting in a circle feels significantly different from knitting straight rows, and that's compounded by how small they are.
