Turns out it was organized by 3 local residents who only just connected online when they wanted to see something planned in their community. Protestors first gathered at MPP Hogarth's office, then walked over to wave signs and chant along Islington Avenue. I was impressed by the turnout (over 130) but even more pleasantly surprised by how many drivers honked in support.
