AurélieS gravure<p>Je vous en montre un p'tit dernier. Je vais m'arrêter sur ce tampon ex-libris car j'en ai realisé pas mal. La demande était celle-ci : "l'image d'une jeune femme brune qui porte un bob et qui lit un livre, en référence au tableau La liseuse de Fragonard".<br>C'est toujours hyper réjouissant à réaliser, toujours un challenge à relever. Il faut que l'illustration plaise mais également que j'arrive à graver dans des formats assez petits parfois. TanjaI made a functional thing today. I crocheted an Armrest Cover for my husband, because his ellbows need protection from the hard plastic armrest. It's essentially just a rectangle in single crochets, then I threaded an elastic through and pulled to tighten a bit. Knotted the elastic ends together and ta-daaa... The covers fit like a charm!<br>
Yarn used is Katia Bambi, a bulky velvet yarn. <br>

Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.<br>
