Hi!

Since a few grub updates (debian testing), the menu doesn't show anymore unless I set it to console output mode (so, in full text mode).

Found this debian issue matching what I see ( https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1051832 ) but I couldn't fix mine using his workaround.

Anyone has the same issue in here?

@krevedkokun shared a cool thread about uki-bootloader implementation for guix, which brings alternative to grub and better encrypted root support. The solution has some drawbacks, but still very nice to see this work done!
