Es haben nicht die Gesellschaft, Politik und öffentliche Institutionen erreicht, dass eine erste deutsche Frau als Astronautin ins Weltall startet. Oceans Craig<p>not for the first time I've been part of a team doing the southern-most direct ocean observations on the planet... we have just emerged from the Bay of Whales (yes there were <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/whales" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>whales</span></a>). Its where <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Amundsen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Amundsen</span></a> took <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Fram" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fram</span></a> and set up base for his successful round trip to the pole. It was also mind-meltingly spectacular. We got to around 78o 40'S and took a temperature-salinity profile. Why wouldn't you do all you can to preserve this planet?</p>
