Organizing the half inch hexagons I've made so far. Going to see what arrangements please my brain and maybe start putting together the new case for my power bank.
Have begun making tiny hexagons for my stupid mental health, as the meme goes. I'm really enjoying them so far.
Not sure what I'm making with these, but I think it'll be a new case for my power bank. My last one went a bit wonky in the wash because the wadding detached. Whoever made it really did not think that part through (it was me, I made it).
My work for the next days: Sewing these flowers and butterflies (there ist batting underneath each, glued with textile glue) with ladder stitch all around the edges on the bought pillow case (80 x 80 cm). After this it is quilting time.
(Not everything is my colour palette/pattern, but it's especially requested by my kid. I sew a relatively simple quilt blanket out of big blocks in rainbow colours last year for my child and will also appliqué butterflies and my beloved rainbow-flowers on this.)

New EPP project: let's see if I can make two small pillow cases with these hexagons.
Each pillow case will use 67 hexies, 5 rows of 7 and 4 rows of 8.
Another Kaffe Fassett Collective/Free Spirit project, this time purchased from The Last Homely House (warning to my future self: more expensive, because it's not shipped DDP).
Yellow/orange-ish 1 inch hexagons, basting was quite easy and fun, and now I just want to see if this is the configuration I want. I like there is some symmetry, but nothing too obvious (I hope).
Up and down, row by row: I'm loving the slow speed of this EPP project
Now that I finished the latest cross stitch project, I can get back to the tiny hexie epp one!
25 rows in total so far, stitching the hexies of row 23, and the first eight rows have been sewn together.

Visited my aunt to check in on her previous quilt work. She can no longer do any crafts (bad vision, painful hands), and she handed over two cigar boxes filled with tiny hexagons, already basted.
Gosh, it's up to me now to finished/continue this project!
