Maxwell Volume<p>Cor blimey! Today it's twenty whole actual earth years since one of my favourite <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> gigs (at which I was a performer, at least). The debut performance of <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/tripswyche" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tripswyche</span></a> - a VERY <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/psychedelic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>psychedelic</span></a>, <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/experimental" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>experimental</span></a> band comprised of <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/daevidallen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DaevidAllen</span></a> (mastermind behind <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/gong" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gong</span></a>, on guitars, tapes and nudity), Kavi Samut (from Electric Tepee, on bells, whistles and kaoss), Misbah (poetry and weirdsmithery) and myself (on guitars and inexplicable noise). Held in a grungy venue in a seedy corner of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley on the 1st of April, 2005, it was an incredibly cosmic exploration of death, with added touches of fame, capitalism and art. And humour, definitely humour - it was a highly amusing experience!<br><br>If you need more strangeness in your life, you can stream or download the whole performance here - <a href="https://tryptophonic.com/endgame-death-ritual/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://tryptophonic.com/endgame-death-ritual/</a></p>
