The Windows lock-screen on my work laptop was advertising Microsoft's Agents. I was pretty sure the technology wasn't there yet (thanks to @davidgerard 's work) so I tried it. I opened Copilot Studio and I asked it to create an agent that looks up train schedules and prices for me. Copilot told me "yes, I can". You won't believe what happened next... Aber über #Office und #Kollaboration hinaus: Welche Alternativen zu #Microsoft #CoPilot plant @zendis im Bereich Generative #KI aufzubauen, zu betreiben und anzubieten und wie schnell? Mit einem kleinen Entwickler-Team wird das kaum zu schaffen sein.
Um bei unserer schleppenden Digitalisierung, sehr hohem bürokratischen Aufwand und viel zu geringer Personalstärke die notwendige Fahrt aufzunehmen wird eine reine Office- und Kollaborationsplattform nicht ausreichen. So kritisch ich die #KI Entwicklung derzeit sehe - ohne KI- und Agenten-Systeme bleiben wir in Deutschland bei der #Digitalisierung weiter im Hintertreffen - und somit international im Nachteil - zusätzlich zu unserem Föderalismusproblem. Daher müssen wir uns auch bei KI souverän aufstellen - aber dürfen natürlich auch hier keinesfalls auf Lösungen von US-Unternehmen setzen.

Microsoft zaskoczył świat gamingu, prezentując demo technologiczne Quake II, klasycznej strzelanki z 1997 roku, w pełni wygenerowane przez sztuczną inteligencję.
Projekt oparto na modelu Muse AI, który zadebiutował wcześniej w tym roku jako narzędzie zdolne do tworzenia wizualizacji gier i symulowania rozgrywki.
Demonstracja jest częścią inicjatywy Copilot for Gaming i dostępna do przetestowania w przeglądarce na platformie Copilot Labs.
Nowa wersja Quake II działa w rozdzielczości 640 x 360 pikseli i została wytrenowana na danych gry zebranych w zaledwie tydzień – to ogromny postęp w porównaniu do siedmiu lat potrzebnych wcześniejszym modelom. Muse, opracowany we współpracy z zespołem Ninja Theory, generuje w czasie rzeczywistym świat gry, grafikę i mechaniki rozgrywki, co wyróżnia go na tle tradycyjnych tytułów opartych na statycznych zasobach.

Today Microsoft suddenly revealed extensive plans to advance in a quite unexpected direction creating a special division called #FreeBSD and #OpenBSD Optimization Lab (FOOL, in short).
One of the key goals of the new structure would be, I quote, "to introduce FreeBSD and OpenBSD users to advanced user experience available to Windows users", such as:
a) Kernel-level #Copilot integration, that enables, for example, intelligent control over booting process and better syscalls handling leveraging power of Microsoft Azure platform;
b) introducing proper "Blue screen of death". #BSD users are notoriously unfamiliar with such an important component of normal user experience - brace yourself, devil worshippers!
c) deprecating local user accounts: every BSD users knows that this age-old feature is just a relic of the past and part of huge technical debt. Now with Microsoft support they can finally get rid of it and enjoy having truly flexible and secure account system.
Those are just a few key goals of the new and bold initiative.
Surely, unexpected but, nevertheless, glad news for every BSD enjoyer out there.
