Ooh it looks like something is afoot over at isitfairtrademusicfri.day, courtesy of @keefmarshall's brand new submission bot.

Here's how it works:

If you've got a release on a #FairTradeMusic platform¹ you'd like to plug, follow @ftmf and reply (with a link & description) to its post that will appear on Friday at 00:00 CEST- it will then appear at isitfairtrademusicfri.day automagically!

¹ eg #Bandcamp, #Bandwagon, #Faircamp, #JamCoop, #Mirlo or #SelfHosted etc.

isitfairtrademusicfri.dayIs it Fairtrade Music Friday?Unsure if today is Fairtrade Music Friday? Fear not - you will find out here!

I test out music on #Bandcamp then put the good discoveries on the wishlist or shopping cart. What I buy goes in my music library and into my phone and I listen mainly in the car.

Completely 100% free from the stench and claws of greedy Spotify and the rest of the ripoff-to-artists streaming services.

Throughout this morning, I've been sporadically lolling at the april fools release 'Iltasoitto' by finnish composer maestro Aleksi Eeben. The album serves a mixed bag of sarcastic and hilarious takes on generative AI music.

Soft prog rock tune about various types of balloons? ✅
15-minute take on Rick-rolling? ✅
Song about how awesome tofu is, pulled of as hilariously AI cringe as it gets? ✅

Album is only available for sale today (afaik) so if you want a copy, grab it real quick.

Listening to a recent #Bandcamp Weekly show and the rather perfunctory way Andrew Jervis's departure was announced makes me suspect there wasn't a collection and card. Which is a shame. As he made that show what it is.

As I didn’t move an inch on my plans of creating some remixes, I ended up cleaning the tracks and releasing my 2025 EP, Stem & Flow.

Unlike the previous DNB album, this one takes it a bit slower but doesn’t shy away from the rumbling bass.

I’ll look into publishing on the streaming services later, so far bandcamp it is:
