If you #OpenStreetMap in #JOSM in the United States, I've started a validator file that cleaned up ~75% of all the incorrectly formatted phone= tags in Seattle.
I plan on adding more as I have time. If there's a pattern you find particularly rampant, let me know!
@watmildon if it's possible, would love to see a validator rule which identifies boundary relation members which are glued to other non-boundary elements. Might need to be a dedicated tool though
@citrula That seems totally possible in MapCSS. I'll make a note to try and cook it up. I'm sure there's a lot of fiddly special cases to check for to get reasonable diagnostic.
The fixups are somewhat limited so I don' think I can decouple and generate "correct" geometries but detection should be straightforward for lots of cases.
