So I noticed the other day that I've been banned in a major #XMPP channel. No warnings, no reasons given, I have no idea why it happened. (I was always on good terms with the mods there, or at least so I believe.)
I joined with an alt and politely asked if anyone knew why my other account was banned. In response, my alt account was also silently banned.
Utterly baffling...what rule did I break, who the heck did I piss off, and when???
@contrapunctus TBH, you would get the same in mastodon. I got blocked by a couple of persons, no reasons, no space for apologies or improvement. :shrug: I just moved on.
