I just did my first GPS tracking using OSMTracker! 😀

Now, even though it's uploaded on openstreetmap.org (openstreetmap.org/#map=16/0.29), I just found out that this website is not about showing GPS traces details.

Do you know any OSM-based service where we can upload gpx files and display all its information?

Hello all, I have a question: I'd like to start mapping some small paths using a GPS tracker.

I know some people here have done that: what hardware did you use for that? This wiki page lists some hardware wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Re but I wanted to know if people here have been using their own smartphone or any specific receiver.

Openstreetmap is reaching the point that it is just more information rich and beautiful than google maps and that is awesome

Hello 👋 I'm new to this Mastodon instance!

I joined it to learn more about contributing to OSM and how to leverage the best that OSM has to offer. I did some OSM edits at a mapathon and I've been using StreetComplete on Android to update places in my neighbourhood. That's the extent of my experience!

If you have any links to useful wikis/websites or any good tips to share, that would be awesome! 👍
