Can anyone recommend any good sites for monitoring #SEO, backlinks, search engine keywords for a website?
I'm currently using ahrefs.com free service and it's fine. I'm just curious.

dear fedi, please don't hate me because I want to do some "search engine optimization"
There's good marketing and bad marketing!
@amapanda exactly! Totally agree :) love also been quite happy with AHRefs and the Google search console. For getting other analytics, don’t use Google but rather Matomo, a French company with privacy preserving options.
@ianthetechie I have a feeling that most of my users (incl me) will be blocking GAnalytics and everything else like Matamo.
@amapanda haha fair enough ;) I have employed ad and tracker blockers for.... idk.... 15 years, but I think we're in the minority (depends on your site audience, obviously).
@ianthetechie I've been blocking them too.
It's for WWM.org who which right now is mostly OSMers, so
@amapanda Semrush may be worth a look. You get loads of valuable data and insights even with their free accounts.
@amapanda I also use the Google search console, who give report on queries related to your domain, and the bing webmaster tools, for the same stuff, but from Bing. None requires to change anything on your website (eg, no analytics trackers), just to verify the ownership.
@mdione that's good for keeping track of the visitors you already have. But I mostly want to track the bit before they come to the website. I want to track my search engine keywords
