Map furniture (legends, arrows, scale bars, attribution, etc.) is often necessary, but not always easy to place in a pleasing way. So for day 4 of I've been playing with BAD ways to misuse it.

Created in QGIS, source data (map/book/bed/furniture shops) . Cartouche with necessary cherubs Wikimedia Commons.

Notionally of a map of shops in the UK, but actually a bad collage of various items of "map furniture" mainly used wrongly, inappropriately or subversively (North arrow pointing 35 degrees of N, Shetland in a box, but obscuring London, etc.)
